The Urbis et Orbis. Microhistory and Semiotics of the City is published on an open-access basis under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International Public License (CC BY–NC 4.0). This means that users may copy and distribute the work in any medium or format, adapt and transform texts under the following terms:
- You must indicate the authors of the original works, and provide a link to the Urbis et Orbis. Microhistory and Semiotics of the City, and point at any changes made.
- You may not use the materials of the journal for commercial purposes.
By submitting material for publication in Urbis et Orbis. Microhistory and Semiotics of the City, the authors grant the journal owner the following non-exclusive rights:
- The right to reproduce the whole of the material or any of its parts in any material form including the print and electronic media in the form of separate work, as part of the journal, in the databases of the publisher, and/or other persons at the discretion of the publisher.
